Vintage cinema usher volunteers

Roll out the red carpet! Greenway's vintage pop up cinema aims to transport our visitors back to the glamorous golden age of film. You could provide a warm and authentic welcome, punch tickets and show people to their seats in the heated marquee in a Walled Garden of Agatha Christie's holiday home.

What's involved?
• Ensuring the cinema is ready for guests
• Encouraging people to take photos, and share their experience on social media
• Welcoming visitors as they arrive at our cinema, checking tickets and helping people to their seats.
• Wearing vintage usher uniform (please provide black trousers and white shirt)
• Helping to tidy the cinema after the film
• The cinema is on Saturdays and Sundays through December; morning shift from 10:15am – 1pm, afternoon shift from 1:15pm – 3.30pm, or all day 10:15am – 3:30pm (with 30mins break).
• You will have the option of watching the film

This role will suit you if you are...
• Someone who loves meeting new people and creating a magical experience for visitors
• Passionate about film, Greenway, and want to know more about the National Trust
• Cheerful - even when a coach party has just arrived and it’s a little bit hectic!
• Wanting to help but don’t have time to commit to regular volunteering.
