Crooked Houses - Creative Writing Workshop at Greenway
11am-1pm, Thursday 12 May, in the House Kitchen at Greenway.
Normal admission charges apply. For non-National Trust members, adult prices are Gift Aid £11.40 Standard £10.30, further details and prices can be found on the website or by contacting the property. There is no additional fee for the workshop, but advance booking is essential.
Greenway is the former holiday home of author Agatha Christie. In many of Christie's works, the character of a house plays an importance role in the unravelling mystery. In the atmospheric kitchen at Greenway, we'll take inspiration from the house itself, from descriptions of other houses in Christie's work and from important houses in our own lives. Whether you're new to poetry or already have a body of work, you'll come away with the draft of a new poem, some feedback from our writer in residence and hopefully some ideas towards future writing.
This workshop is not suitable for children. Assistance dogs only.
