Jewellery workshops
Make a unique piece of jewellery or be inspired by the latest fashion jewellery. Walk away with your own creations.
Suitable for beginners and for those who want to refresh their jewellery making techniques.
Learn how to make jewellery using beads, wire, chain and metal components. You will be shown how to use pliers to manipulate wire and metal components.
When:
Monday 14th July 5.15pm - 7.15pm
Saturday 26th July 1.15pm - 3.15pm
Saturday 16th August 1.15pm - 3.15pm
Monday 18th August 5.15pm - 7.15pm
Price: £22 per 2-hr workshop. Tools and materials are provided with the option of purchasing extra materials. If you need reading glasses, please bring them along.
Limited spaces available per session. Workshops are suitable for age 12+

About the tutor:
Maria Lau is a jewellery designer who creates contemporary handcrafted designs which sell in the UK and internationally. She graduated from The Royal College of Art in 2003 and now resides in Huddersfield. With experience in teaching in schools and further education, Maria enjoys sharing her creativity with others, helping people to learn a new craft and hone their skills.
