September Serenade - Music & Art Show!

An exciting collaboration between The Civic, Slaithwaite and Globe Art Studios to promote local artists and events.

11am – 3pm The Civic Basement: Experience Community open day and drop-in. Find out more about the activities of the basement’s new residents.

2pm - 7pm Globe Arts Studios: A selection of Art works from a variety of local Artists available to at Globe Art Studios throughout the day.

2.30pm The Civic - Concert Hall: The Civic bar will be open with a variety of ales, wines and soft drinks.

3.30pm The Civic - Concert Hall: Piano Recital by acclaimed Finnish Pianist Julia Wallin followed by an introduction to Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra’s new exciting season by Conductor Benjamin Ellin.

5pm Civic Canalside Room (ground floor): Join us for food, drink, afternoon tea and a chance to meet the Musicians and Artists!
Globe Art Studios: Another chance to view local Artwork at Globe Arts Studios, with music by members of Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra.
