Stevenage Library Artist in Residence

My Story's Artist in Residence programme began with a bang over the summer. The project aims to provide low or no cost arts and culture to Hertfordshire residents whilst also giving opportunities to local artists.

Each Artist in Residence has focused on a different artform and delivered inspiring workshops for their community. Stevenage Central Library is currently hosting Katharine Harper, whose collaborative map of Stevenage has had amazing contributions from the community. She has delivered bookmaking workshops to capture memories of old Stevenage, taken striking composite photos at local sporting events and even been into schools to inspire young minds.

Her residency runs until mid December and you can add your contribution to her map at all events:

Saturday 25 November, 2-4pm - Connecting with Places
Saturday 9 December, 10am-12pm - Christmas Decorations
Tuesday 9 December, 3-6pm - Residency Exhibition
