Liz Sergeant and fellow graduates from Central Saint Martins XAP (Cross Arts Projects) are thrilled to have been featured in the online edition of ARTNews - 'the most widely read art magazine in the world'.
Their forthcoming project, 'The Psychotropic House' (www.psychotropichouse.com) is featured in an article about crowd funding, and Liz's photo of the Psychotropic Stairwell has been chosen to accompany the article.
XAP's project is their most ambitious project to date, and they have set up a crowdfunding site on Kickstarter to raise funds to help make the project accessible to people living with visual impairment. Thanks to the generosity of their backers they have almost reached their goal of £1,500.

XAP will be the artists in residence at Yinka Shonibare's guest project space from 10th - 30th January. Their ambitious, experimental project, ‘The Psychotropic House’, is an evolving, interactive and multi-sensory art installation, inspired by the futuristic writings of J G Ballard. The bizarrely playful Psychotropic House combines traditional art media with interactive technology to create the interior of a house that responds to your presence.
A programme of supporting events will encourage a wide range of visitors to the House; a Big Draw event for families; school visits; a Symposium to provoke discussion within the current art debate; and an Open Day for visually impaired audiences.
