‘From Seeds to Cedars: How Plants Grow’: Let your pupils step out of the concrete jungle and connect with the natural world in this beautiful outdoor space. Through this activity day, children will develop their understanding of the science curriculum through direct experience.

Children will see the topic of ‘Green Plants’ come to life as they explore the Formal Gardens and walled Kitchen Garden with our expert guides. There’s a chance to dig in too! Topics covered include: what plants need for growth; the life cycle of a plant; the different forms that plants take and what we use plants for. Throughout, children will use their senses to investigate all sorts of plants from small fruits to the largest trees!
