Kirklees Concert Season Previews
The Kirklees Concert Season returns in September, marking the seventeenth year of Opera North and Kirklees Council’s unique partnership, and the first step on the journey towards the region’s Year of Music 2023.
You can be among the first to discover what's in store at two free preview events presented by Phil Boughton, Director of Orchestra and Chorus at Opera North.
On Wednesday 5 June, members of the Chorus of Opera North will give a free Lunchtime Concert at Dewsbury Town Hall, followed by refreshments and an exclusive preview of the forthcoming Kirklees Concert Season, focusing on the Lunchtime Chamber Concerts, which return to Dewsbury Town Hall in September. Lunches are available from 11am, and the performance starts at 12.30pm.
On Thursday 6 June at Huddersfield Town Hall, Phil will be joined by Kirklees Borough Organist Dr Gordon Stewart and Kirklees Council's Creative Economy Manager Kath Davies for an evening preview focusing on orchestral and organ concerts. Enjoy an evening of music with a complimentary drink, and pick up the new brochure, hot off the press, from 7.00pm!
Subscription packages for the Kirklees Concert Season will be available to book from Thursday 6 June, and single tickets can be booked from Tuesday 25 June.
