Kirklees Concert Season 2022-23 - Concerts in September
Ready for an unforgettable year of music?
September sees the return of the Kirklees Concert Season for the 2022-23 Season and we hope you'll find time to go along and enjoy some of the wonderful music on offer.
David Pipe, Huddersfield's Guest Curator begins the series of lunchtime organ concerts at Huddersfield Town Hall on Monday 12 September when you can hear works by Handel, Beethoven and Bach on the famous Father Willis organ. Unfortunately Jonathan Scott has had to cancel his concert on Monday 26 September but David Pipe will stand in for him and has put together a lovely programme of music.
On Thursday 15 September, Opera North perform 'An American in Paris'. Music Director Garry Walker conducts a programme jam-packed with jazz and blues, with the Orchestra of Opera North joined by one of the world's finest clarinettists, Julian Bliss.
And the Chamber Concert Season begins on Wednesday 21 September, with a fantastic programme of violin and piano music with Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata at its heart performed by Andy Long and Ian Buckle.
So what a start to an amazing Season. You can check out and book for these and all the concerts in the 2022-23 Season at the link below.
