Kinky & Quirky’s ‘Kick Up The Arts’ Burlesque, Ball and Boogie!

When we were asked whether we would like to be the opening night of the inaugural Riviera Fringe Festival we asked ourselves: “Ok, can we book some of the really cracking burlesque, cabaret and variety performers who perform at prestigious fringe festivals in the U.K, Europe and worldwide and kick this off with a bang?”

Of course we can!!

So here’s who we have got lined up for a fabulous night of variety, skills, thrills, comedy, song, dance and live music on Saturday 5th July at The Riviera Centre in Torquay.

Seasoned dahlings of Edinburgh, Adelaide, Brighton, Perth, Bestival, Glastonbury, Latitude, Covent Garden, East End, West End, in a theatre, on the street, in a tent, in your front room – in your face – on your face – these are some of the stalwarts of the scene and we can’t wait to get them all under one roof!

After the show the Arena of the Riviera Centre will play host to a massive ‘Kick Up The Arts’ ball with a cracking eclectic mix of music – swing, rock n roll, ska, soul, funk, boogie-woogie, R&B, garage, mambo, retro cheese, cool indie, stuff you can shake your tail feathers too with live music from Mr B, The Gentleman Rhymer – until 2.00am
