Kinky & Quirky's 'Fire & Freakbeats' Burlesque& Boogie Torquay
It’s Halloween – hooray!
Whatever outfit you’re planning, night out you’re wanting, friends you’re sharing it with, you know that the best party is going to be at Kinky & Quirky’s Burlesque and Boogie on Saturday 30th October at Club Rainbow Torquay.
Bringing you more top names from the UK’s burlesque scene at one of the most fabulous venues – K&Q’s decadent night of black magic promises tantalizing tease and loads of fun.
...
Our trick and treat performers come from far afield and close to home and have a wealth of experience performing at some of the best U.K shows.
Betty Corbeau is a stick of dynamite jammed in the rolling hills of South Devon; a theatrical blend of comedy and quirky – Betty is definitely one to watch.
Joined- at- the- hip duo Morning Star and Daisy Cutter promise acts that are weird, strange and downright disturbingly bizarre – well that’s ok – it’s Halloween.
Cat Aclysmic is the ultimate Southern Belle gone bad. This tattooed terror from the depths of Dixie blends British wit and American burlesque with fire and dance to create larger than life characters and sex-charged satire. Unforgettable, original, and deeply entertaining Cat Aclysmic is truly the hottest thing from the North to come out of the South.
Kinky & Quirky’s extremely popular night attracts quite a following –
September’s event was sold out.
*As an extra element to the night we have invited the boys from Freakbeat A Go Go to spin some very fine 60's choons for you dancin' devils!
Dedicating the entire night to top class burlesque artistes and rockin’ tunes; blues, mambo, rock ‘n’ roll, retro sleaze and cool cheese, the joint will be jumping and you should book early to get a table and tickets.
The event is strictly over 18’s only and there will be two levels of ticket pricing – VIP tickets at £10.00 per head which offers allocated front row table seating with waitress service or advanced tickets priced at £6.00 per head which offers allocated table seating on a first book – first serve basis.
There could also be an organized return coach from Exeter (if there is enough interest and advanced payment). Tickets for the coach would be £6.00 per head.
*And there is also a very special K&Q rate at The Rainbow Hotel for only £20pp per night B&B.
