K & Q’s ‘Les belles et les damnes’ Burlesque & Boogie 1/10/11
The first of two October shows sees Kinky & Quirky’s heady mix of exotica, film noir and some fine French influenced hillbilly jazz – Introducing three fabulous performers and a very exciting band, yep we’re definitely talking about the beautiful and the damned!
With her fabulous costumes and playful illusions enigmatic, international, showgirl Domino Burlesk will guide you through a dark, elegant dream world of exotic lairs and smoke filled opium dens.
Crimson Skye has just sold out her one woman show and entertains the UK’s finest audiences with disturbed comedy blended with burlesque and song. She was described by Alice Cooper as "delightful!" during his Halloween X Factor - Expect the glamour but be prepared for the strange.
Our cover girl Annette Bette is inspired by vintage New York follies and Vegas showgirls – With the looks and glamour of a 1940s sex kitten she offers a film noir feel of mystery, elegance and surprise.
We are excited to add our special musical guests ‘The Zazou Cowboys’ to the bill this month. Comprising of Chris & Yann (The Bonneville Barons), Willy Briggs (Mighty Atoms) and violinist Rebecca Willson, their music is Western Swing and Hillbilly Jazz with a heavy French influence and this is only their 3rd gig!
Our last two events both sold out in advance – and with a night of top class tunes for you to dance to including rockin’ garage, surf, blues, mambo, rock ‘n’ roll, retro sleaze and cool cheese, the joint is always jumping so book early to get a table and tickets.
