K&Q’s ‘Flowers of the Dead’ Burlesque & Boogie 29/10/11
‘Flores a los muertos’ is the second of our two October shows and we are tipping our feathered hats to the Mexican ‘Day of the Dead’ festivals with a smattering of the bizarre plus the intoxicating allure of some spellbinding sirens mixed with down and dirty blues from this month’s musical guests The Bare Bones Trio.
Bristol based northern gal Penny Bizarre is definitely one to watch, curious by name and nature, her acts offer more than sparkles and feathers and she is building up a burlesque box of new tricks.
A costume designer and dancer from Wales, Sandy Sure brings vibrant characters to life through narrative, graceful dance ability and exquisite custom-made costumes. From absurdly comic to seductive to just plain evil, she will be a glamorously entertaining addition to the night.
International performer Exotic Luna Rosa has captivated audiences in the UK, Europe and USA. With a review like this we are excited to have her at K&Q.

Our Halloween event usually sees the Kinky & Quirky crowd at their most creative with outrageous costumes and we hope this year will be no exception!
We are an extremely busy night with top class tunes for you to dance to including rockin’ garage, surf, blues, mambo, rock ‘n’ roll, retro sleaze and cool cheese.The joint is always jumping so book early to get a table and tickets.
