A poem about first day at new college

This is a poem i wrote after my first day at southdevon college...

Take a deep breath as you open up the door,
This is the place you'll make or break for.
Watchs the eyes of fimiliars judge the new,
The ways of new places you must conform to.
It isnt all expected or that i bargained for,
Yes it wasnt quite Totnes but nor was it poor.
White walls and many floors are alien to me,
When you're used to hippies and all things artsy.
But this is the place i must place myself for now,
So put on your smiles its a show, new kids must bow. <3
