I wrote this poem after i had a day of reflection with my boyfriend:
My Mind keeps saying there must be more than this,
More than the usual hug and sigh and goodbye kiss.
I cant tell you how it felt as i turned my back today,
Each step away from you tred regret down the hallway.
The questions which puzzle my already muddled head,
Into my pounding ears poured each word i wish i'd said.
So take my hand next time as you took my heart that night,
Take the scrawls of today and begin together to rewrite.
