After a 10 year career in the voluntary sector, I took some time out to write my memoirs. I have since published Volume 1, I Deserve My Name, and I'll be publishing Volume 2 in 2018.
I'm a huge fan of live music at local intimate venues and I enjoy sharing my poems about real life issues at spoken word events, as well as supporting fellow poets.
I have experience of organising and hosting events and I'm currently volunteering on the planning committee for the next Huddersfield Literature Festival.
I've recently started preparing for the delivery of an independent writing workshop for women, as well as facilitating writing groups at services across Kirklees.
