A No Place Vacation
Travel broadens the mind, so they say, so venture forth and explore the ruins of No Place in an exhibition of new painting and video by the artist John Vincent.
More of a starting point than a complete journey, this exhibition explores the space that falls somewhere between dreams and the real world. A daydream of partially formed locations pulled from a variety of sources, utilising the intangible qualities of paint as a vehicle. Tour the island, glimpse the sites, come home.
Now boarding. They say that as well.
This is John Vincent’s second solo show at the Westminster Reference Library. He is currently a Fellow with the Digswell Arts Trust and a previous prize winner at the Creekside Open.
