Jill Jill Iliffe: Artist
Working primarily in oil and graphite, Jill's work is varied, but focussed. Often working in series, she is interested in a moment of reflection whether the subject is a portrait or from nature. Working in detail she zooms in on the area that is most interesting to her, often cropping closely to allow the viewer to focus too.
Jill studied at Wimbledon School of Art, received an award by the Rootstein Hopkins Foundation which fully Funded her MA in Drawing at the University of the Arts London. Her work has been exhibited in major public museums, such as the V&A, Rugby Museum and the People's Museum Manchester, a piece is part of the permanent collection of the National Football Museum and she has shown at many commercial galleries. She is a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Artists.
