Obscurity

This work is in the style of Christo and Jeanne-Claude and is about the received perception of art.The spectator is encouraged to question how they perceive and view things on a daily basis and asked to consider looking at things differently, it is about emancipation of vision and routine.
The Wills monument on the Plains in Totnes will be wrapped in fabric, the monument will be as a sculptural form in this guise before being returned to its original status unscathed with renewed poignancy it is hoped.The event, which is somewhat situationalist in genre is marking 100 years since the birth of Rosa Parks (4th February 1913) the African-American civil rights activist.
