HLF/Woven BOOK TRAILS

Our HLF/Woven Book Trails return to various Huddersfield districts. Get your community involved and let us know if your village wants to take part.

The Book Trails are a fun way to create interest as people walk around local areas of the town. Each participant will create a scene or character(s) from a favourite book to display in their garden or window (home or shop/business), and each area will create a map to follow of the various displays.

We encourage the use of eco-friendly and recycled materials, such as old clothes/fabrics to create the displays and the Book Trails are supported by Woven, a biennial festival that celebrates innovation in textiles across Kirklees.

The best entry chosen in each participating area will win a £20 book token and will be put forward to compete with other groups to win a luxury hamper of literary and food items.
