Don’t Ask the Dragon 11am-12pm and 2pm-3pm
Join no 1 bestselling author, poet and Festival Patron Lemn Sissay and illustrator Greg Stobbs for a fun storytelling and colouring activity session, with video animation, for young children.
Don’t Ask the Dragon is a heart-warming story about finding joy and home wherever you are. Follow the adventures of Alem, a young boy in search of a place to celebrate his birthday.
This is Lemn Sissay’s first ever children’s book, beautifully illustrated by Greg Stobbs and destined to become an instant classic.
“A lovely book, simple and yet profound. There should be a copy in every nursery.” Jacqueline Wilson
“A stunning new rhyming folk tale for our time … moving, loveable and philosophical.”
Michael Rosen
