Find Your Voice - Masterclass with Hilary Campbell

Masterclass with The Huddersfield Choral Society. Tuesday evening, 7pm

Hilary Campbell is one of the most exciting and vibrant Choral Conductors in the UK. As well as her work as a director of the Bristol Choral Society Hilary is the Musical Director of The Blossom Street Singers; one of the UK’s finest professional chamber choirs. With Blossom Street Stingers Hilary has released two award-winning CDs with Naxos. Outside of this, Hilary's project work includes guest conducting with ensembles such as the BBC Singers, Trinity Laban Chamber Choir, and the University of Greenwich Choir, and chorus mastering the BBC Symphony Chorus and Royal Academy of Music Symphony Chorus. Currently, Hilary is also Associate Conductor of Ex Cathedra. She runs an annual project with Master of the Queen’s Music, Judith Weir, at the Royal Academy of Music, in conjunction with Blossom Street and the RAM composition department, and began working there in 2017 as a BMus Lecturer.

For this third masterclass in our series, Hilary will lead singers in an engaging and fascinating workshop on some choral delights by Elgar and Ralph Vaughan Williams. Hilary will bring her vibrancy and expertise to each session, giving singers some unique insights into two of the UK’s most important choral composers.
