Akimbo was formed in 2008, based in Worthing, West Sussex.

Our key aim is to take rich, compelling, provocative, diverse and entertaining theatre that is relevant to as wide an audience as possible.

Our core repertoire is to focus on fresh, bold, ambitious new productions that represent and reflect the diversity of everyday people and everyday situations.

Focussing on the art of acting we aspire to work with the best local actors, directors, designers and technicians to deliver theatre that is inventive, original and leading edge in its genre.
Our ethos encompasses a strong commitment to creative learning, through which teenakimbo came to life in 2010.
