The Museum of Curiosities Open day at The Tech Building in Holmfirth on Saturday 1st February is a celebration at the end of the current Sharing Memories 15 week project. They have worked jointly with the Nabb School, Enfield Down & The Bridgewood Trust. It's a fun day full of things to see and do. Cabinets of hand crafted curiosities, expand your imagination & witness the Secret Life of Sheep, listen to the marvellous Soul Choir, Valley Beats & the Cafe Orchestra, performing specially written compositions full of memories. Activities for the young include the Children's Art School workshop where they too can come and make some curiosities.
Also if you have memories of the Tech Building from days gone by, please do come along, sit & have a cuppa, regale us with them & we will record them for posterity...
Refreshments: tea, coffee, home made cakes...
