Crowd funding opportunity - support Sharing Memories

Sharing Memories is currently trying to raise £1000 towards the cost of a project working with:

• older people from Holme Valley Sharing Memories and Harmony @ Hope Bank,
• teenagers with learning disabilities from Southgate School,
• primary school children from Honley Junior School and
• teenagers from The Children’s Art School

Our aim is to stage an event called ‘Sticklebacks and Swingboats’ in July 2018 which celebrates the history of Hope Bank Pleasure Gardens.

The project will use verbatim memories of Hope Bank and transform them into a theatrical promenade, a brand new song cycle, an animated film and some wonderful visual art work.
