Hertfordshire Chorus Hertfordshire Chorus

Hertfordshire Chorus is one of the UK’s finest symphonic choirs. Directed by David Temple MBE, its members give their all to singing, believing in the sheer joy and power of music to bring people closer together. We rehearse on Wednesdays at Stanborough School in Welwyn Garden City and we will always give a warm welcome to new singers.
We are renowned for commissioning new music, bringing high-quality and passionate singing to well-known pieces, and tackling difficult, rarely performed music. Our repertoire has included Glass Songs from Liquid Days, Beethoven Missa Solemnis, Janacek Glagolitic Mass, Poulenc Gloria, Stravinsky Song of Psalms and John Adams Harmonium.
We perform not only in Hertfordshire, frequently in St Albans Cathedral, but also in major venues such as the Barbican, Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and Sage Gateshead.
