Textiles by KEN AGAR

The abstract textiles on show have been developed by direct observation, often in close-up, of the colours, surfaces and textures of natural and human forms. Hand-dyed, recycled fibres and manipulated found materials and metals are brought together to create varied and complex surfaces. The viewer is encouraged to move beyond a decorative interpretation to an ever-present impermanence.
