Hertford Castle Tours and Brass Band Concert

Unlike our other open days, this is the only event of the year were you can enjoy a free guided tour of Hertford Castle, with an experienced guide, who volunteers their time to tell you more about this fantastic historical building.
You can also sign up to have a guided tour of the castle walls, learning about their history and when each part was built.
Sign up on the day to enjoy your free guided tour, please speak to a volunteer in the castle entrance to book your tour time.
Welwyn Garden City Brass Band will also be entertaining you all with a traditional concert in the castle grounds, so bring a picnic and relax on the lawn under (we hope) the beautiful british sunshine.
