2 Free Music Workshops with hcmf// & CoMA Festival
CoMA (Contemporary Music For All) Festival have partnered with Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival to deliver a day of workshops and an informal performance on Saturday 3rd March 2018 at St Pauls Hall on the University of Huddersfield Campus.
The day will comprise of two workshops:
Workshop 1
1 - 3pm
Workshop 1 explores noise, drone and improvisation with sound artist Russell Gray, who invites you to bring your own sounds to life through chanting, banging and laughing. Open to ages 13+ with no experience necessary.
Workshop 2
3.30 - 5.30pm
Workshop 2 is an 'open rehearsal' session with composer/teacher Katie Warburton,who will guide you through inclusive ensemble playing. Pieces will include James Tenney's In a Large Open Space and Zoe Martlew's Slap-on. Open to ages 13+, all instruments welcome at grade 4/5+ standard.
