​Established over 30 years ago, Art on the Common – Harpenden is Hertfordshire’s premier outdoor art event. It is a wonderful location, set on a tree lined section of the Common close to the Town Centre.

Last summer’s two day event in June was a resounding success, with over 45 artists displaying and selling a wide range of works.

AOTC 2020 will take place on the weekend of the 13th & 14th June 2020, opening 10am - 5pm on Saturday and 11am – 5pm on Sunday. On Saturday it will coincide with the Harpenden Summer Carnival.

The two day event showcases the very best of local art including paintings, ceramics, fine art, photography, sculpture, fabrics, jewellery, glass, wood and handmade greeting cards. The low cost of exhibiting makes this an ideal event for artists to test the market in a relaxed, friendly environment.
