Sing the Fauré Requiem with the Harpenden Choral Society

Members of the public are warmly invited to join the Harpenden Choral Society for the chance to experience the joy of rehearsing and performing the Fauré Requiem, one of the composer’s most beautiful and popular works. Start 2016 off with single, musically memorable day on January 23rd, at the Harpenden High Street Methodist Church with the strength of the voices of the HCS behind you, conducted by our Musical Director, John Andrews, with piano accompaniment by Vivien Powles.
If you have sung the Fauré Requiem before, here is a wonderful opportunity to dig out your score, bring it along, and sing it again. If you have never sung it, or indeed never sung with a choral group before but would like to try it out in a friendly and supportive environment, now’s your chance. The ability to read music would be an advantage, and scores and refreshments will be provided. Please do invite your family and friends to the free public performance.
