40th Anniversary Concert

Please join Harpenden Choral Society on Saturday 21st November 2015 at 7.30pm at the High Street Methodist Church, for this very special concert of choir and audience favourites as it celebrates 40 years of making music in Harpenden. Conducted by John Andrews, and featuring soloists Fflur Wyn, soprano; Rosemary Braddy, mezzo-soprano; Norbert Meyn, tenor; and Andrew Mahon, bass; this concert promises to be a musical evening to remember. Works performed will include Bach - Magnificat, Bruckner - Locus Iste, Gibbons - The Silver Swan, Handel - Zadok the Priest, Mascagni - Easter Hymn, Parry - I Was Glad, Rachmaninov - Bogoroditsye Dyevo, Stanford - The Blue Bird, and Vivaldi – Gloria, with Roger Carter on organ and orchestral accompaniment by the Kings Sinfonietta.
