Spectrum
Kingsbridge Community College presents its annual exhibiiton of A Level art and design, photography and art textiles featuring new work by around 80 VI Form students.
A student writes: "Spectrum is an exciting journey through a range of creative perspectives. Year 12 and year 13 art, photography and textiles students have collaborated to create a unique body of work that lets individual’s creative talent shine. The exhibition includes hyper-realistic painting, watercolour, illustrative and mixed media fine art pieces. High-fashion garments, sculptural textiles and fabric manipulation are also featured. The photographers have experimented with both digital and film photography, manipulating images digitally and during the developing process.
Spectrum fuses interpretations of the natural world with identity, landscapes, culture and the urban environment. Each piece is a result of individual creative processes, sketches, research, experimentation and mistakes, which all lead to this diverse body of creative expression."
