Renga poetry comes to Teignmouth
Trailing Poetry
During August, Bob Hill will organise the longest Renga sequence of collaborative poetry ever produced at a recycling arts festival in Teignbridge (probably).
Renga – a series of short verses linked into one poem, composed collaboratively by a group – typically generates a scattered mosaic of images, ideally suited to a festival and the poetic contributions of festival-goers.
This sequence will be specially written to coincide with the TRAIL (Trail Recycled Art In Landscape) festival - held in Teignbridge between July and September. See www.trail.org.uk for further information on this recycling event.
Following the festival, the collaborative poetry will be published on the Creative Torbay website (www.creativetorbay.com/harbertonbob).
