Performance Poetry Course, Plymouth

This two day course introduces writers to exciting new ways of approaching performance, words and the use of voice. We will explore different methods of writing, editing, and accessing the imagination both individually and collaboratively, as well as key performance skills including microphone technique, how to combat nerves and achieve a strong stage ‘presence’.

Open to all, from complete beginner to experienced poet/performer. Also suitable for theatre practitioners who wish to expand their writing and performance skills. More experienced writers are welcome to bring their existing work to polish in a masterclass setup. [The course is run by Plymouth ACL and is open to adults 19 or over only]
