Getting started with family history (online event)
Have you always wanted to try researching your family tree but didn’t know how to begin? Join us at this session where we will introduce you to the basic sources and give you helpful tips for successful research. Led by one of our Senior Librarians, we will explore birth marriage and death records, and more. You’ll get the opportunity to ask questions when we finish the session with Q & A.
As this talk will be hosted using MS Teams, participants will need access to a computer, tablet or phone with audio. Instructions for joining the talk will be sent in advance via email, so please ensure that you provide a current email address when you book. Registration opens 15 minutes before the start of the event.
The event is on the 24th January and it will be an online live streamed event. This event cost is £7.
The event starts at 7:30pm and will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. There are 15 spaces available and booking will be required.
