Photography for artists and makers
As an artist and maker selling or promoting your arts and crafts then the quality of the photographs you use is very important, and David Preston returns to Globe Arts Studio with a full day digital photograhy workshop aimed at taking great images of your own creations. Perfect for makers and artists - get the most out of your digital camera (or smart phone) concentrating on composition and lighting to really bring out the quality of your work.
This workshop will shows how, using equipment available at home or on the high street for very little cost, you can take professional looking images of your artwork, crafts and creations. We will look the best way to photograph paintings and drawings and also how to build a tabletop home studio for 3D works such as ceramics, glass and jewellery.
The aim is to learn techniques to bring that professional touch to displaying your work. You are welcome to bring a piece of your own work to photograph. The workshop may also be of interest to anyone selling items and products online.
