The Friends of Tolson & Ravensknowle is a community group working to retain Tolson Museum as the Museum of Huddersfield.
We organise a programme of events throughout the year which we publicise through our newsletter and local outlets. These events take place in the Museum, in the Park or in the Heritage Memorial Garden to the rear of the Museum. We were awarded £100k by Heritage Lottery to create the Heritage Memorial Garden.
Many of our well supported events and projects highlight items in the collections in the Museum, and the history and environment of Huddersfield. Membership of the Friends and these events are our means of raising funds.
