Friends of Greenhead Park History Hour - Beyond the Park Gates

This month’s Friends of Greenhead Park History Hour talk goes beyond the Park gates with a virtual tour of the neighbourhood in the 19th century. When Greenhead Park opened in 1884, the surrounding area was already rich in historical interest, and much remains to be seen today. An illustrated talk by park historian David Griffiths visits some familiar sights and some you may have missed. History Hour sessions are held in the Greenhead Park Community Room (in the cafe building by the tennis courts) from 12.30pm - 1.30pm. Free – no need to book.
