Museum of Now - The art of wax casting

Over the summer months, groups will be making personal and collective objects that will become part of Torquay Museum's exhibitions in the autumn.

If you are a father with a teenage son in Torquay and you would both like to learn the ancient form of lost wax casting, whilst exploring themes around strength and protection, then we'd love to hear from you. You don't need any creative or making skills, just an interest in the theme and a willingness to commit to three or four FREE sessions during the Summer holidays.

The first session will be a trip to Kent's Cavern to gather inspiration, followed by making workshops at Torquay Museum.

Workshop dates: 17th-20th Auguste
