Call for Participants - 'A Little Patch of Ground'
Participatory arts organisation Encounters, who are newly resident at Dartington Space, are looking for participants from across South Devon to take part in a free food growing and live performance project ‘A Little Patch of Ground’. This project will take place on the Dartington Estate from 5 May – end of September 2011, every Thursday evening, 5.30-8.30pm.
Samples of soil, plant life and food as well as personal stories, images, ideas and experiences will be drawn together and cross-fertilised through photography and film, writing and drama, collecting, cooking and planning during the project. The resulting performance and exhibition will be premiered at Dartington and toured to local community venues. This project is funded by the Arts Council and supported by Arts Admin, Dartington Hall Trust, Permaculture Association and Transition Network.
We are looking for 20 people to take part, from 8-80years old. You could come on your own, with your family or with a friend.
