Emily Howard Singer/Songwriter Emily Howard
Well known on the South West music scene, Exeter-based Emily has been compared with Joni Mitchell, Ani DiFranco, Amy MacDonald and KT Tunstall.
Career highlights for Emily include supporting Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, John Fairhurst, Philip Henry and Hannah Martin, Jim Causley and Three Daft Monkeys. She’s a regular on the festival circuit, including Port Eliot, WOMAD, Devon Dub Fest and Beautiful Days. Emily has just returned from a tour playing guitar in the Phil Beer band in May 2017.

Emily is a full time musician, gigging either solo or with the Dillyboys on the weekend; running open microphone nights, leading choirs, accompanying the Big Noise Chorus, and teaching music during the week.
Emily is a music leader at Wren Music, a music charity which deliver quality music workshops for people of all ages and abilities. Paul and Marilyn, the founders of Wren, were awarded a Gold Badge by the English Folk Dance and Song Society for their contribution to folk music education.
