Is there Culture in Dewsbury? YES !!! and you will see it on the day.
We are presenting an "Arts & Culture Festival at Dewsbury Minster" on Saturday April 25th as part of the Tour de Yorkshire Festival, before The Tour de Yorkshire cycle race.
We have over 25 activities taking place on the day. We have a presentation of Ryan Baxendale's Art Exhibition, "Mr Gumpy's Outing" presented by Surestart, Ukulele playing, A Poetry Workshop lead by John Irving Clarke, Handbell ringers, Rhymes and a story by Dewsbury Library and many local arts groups demonstrating or running interactive workshops enabling participation in their art.
