Heritage Open Days - Union St Craft Fair

Visit our Craft Fair, which includes drop-in craft activities and a chance to see a new street artwork, inspired by Dewsbury's heritage.

Dewsbury's Creative Craft Centre is hosting a street market featuring stalls from a variety of crafters and local organisations. The fair will run from 11am-4pm.

There will also be drop-in family friendly workshops from 12pm-3pm, inspired by the textile heritage of Dewsbury and traditional craft skills, and run by local artist Harriet Lawson and Gini, the winner of Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas.

Harriet has also created a new piece of artwork for Union Street, inspired by the textile heritage of Dewsbury, and will be in situ for the duration of Heritage Open Days (Sept 9-18th).
