One of a series of photo/drawings exploring energy, movement and celebration, which I have been working on over the last three years. I use the camera as an implement of drawing and I endeavour to capture the essential energy of my subject. I take a series of shots one after the other, never knowing quite what will be the result until I take a look at them later. This piece is part of a sub-set based on church windows, as I try to encapsulate the feeling of a higher power at work through our creative activities, which chime with the universal spirit coursing through all things.
