Make your own Plastic Bag Sheep (TM)
This month the focus is the on the long lasting problems of plastic litter worldwide.
To raise awareness of the threat plastic carrier bag litter to land animals I started making Plastic Bag Sheep, from discarded plastic bags I found on the streets and in hedges, and from the ones that people had stored at home.
'The Flock' has featured in exhibitions around Devon and in Weston-super-Mare.
Plastic Bag Sheep are on display in Dawlish this month! Look out for them in places around the town - such as Dawlish Library, the Monkey House, and Taylor's Cafe...
Come along on Saturday 22nd to find out how the sheep are made, and create your own small version to store and reuse plastic bags- to prevent them from becoming pollution on land and in the oceans.
