The DO IT Fund

Have you got a brilliant idea of how to get more people taking part in the arts in North Kirklees?

Then DO IT!

The DO IT Fund allows individuals and groups from Dewsbury, Batley, Mirfield, Heckmondwike, Cleckheaton, Birstall, Gomersal & Liversedge to get small amounts of money to make their great creative idea, a reality.

Creative Scene want to get more people involved in seeing and doing more arts activities- which includes everything from dance to crafts, theatre to painting, photography to music (and everything in between!).

To be eligible to receive up to £500 investment, you must show that your idea:
• Involves high quality arts activity or performance.
• Is something new that you or your group have not done before.
• Brings in new audiences or participants who have not taken part before.

Decisions will be made quarterly by a panel consisting of Creative Scene producers and community decision makers from our SceneMakers programme. The deadlines for 2015 are:

January 31st 2015
March 31st 2015
June 30th 2015
September 30th 2015
