idle women open call for artist-in-residence Spring 2017

Creative Scene are partnering with idle women to bring an idle women (on the water) to North Kirklees from March-May 2017.

idle women are seeking a socially motivated artist with collaborative practice to live and work with them for three months. You will be working with women and girls in and around the areas of Mirfield, Dewsbury and Ravensthorpe, West Yorkshire, as a crucial activating and outward facing member of the idle women project.

This residency is open to women artists who work across a range of practices including (but not exclusively) spoken word, theatre, visual arts, music, digital platforms, film, photography, dialogical practice and performance.
