Arts Adventurer Co-Ordinator: Creative Scene

Creative Scene is looking for an individual to join the team and play a key role in setting up, recruiting and co-ordinating a new Arts Adventurers team.

Arts Adventurers will play a key role in helping Creative Scene to reach new and existing audiences by promoting cultural events and activities and gathering valuable feedback on the impact of their work.

The Co-ordinator role requires someone who is highly organised, loves to administer in a creative environment and who can inspire and motivate individuals.
With support from the Marketing and Administration Officer you will:
• Establish and deliver a recruitment plan to identify and encourage people to become an Arts Adventurer.
• Co-ordinate any induction and training needs for the Arts Adventurers – and administer any legal requirements such as DBS checks.
• Work with Project Managers to identify what support Arts Adventurers can provide to promote cultural events and ensure the individuals are briefed and supported effectively.
• Gather feedback and data from the Arts Adventurers about the impact of their support and present this in consistent and timely manner.

Knowledge of the North Kirklees area and its communities will be a strength.

The role has a fixed fee of £2500 for 25 days working between February 2019 and December 2019.

In the role you will reporting to the Marketing and Administration Officer and working closely with Project Managers.

The role is based in North Kirklees and some office based time will be required in Dewsbury.
