Artist At Work, Creative Scene, North Kirklees

Artist At Work is the strand of Creative Scene which partners up local businesses with artists to engage employees and customers in arts and creative activities. We are now looking to commission a significant number of artists to take up residency opportunities in nine very different businesses around the area, including cafes, offices, local markets and retail outlets as well as a museum, an Indian restaurant and a large food production factory.

We are looking for individuals who will find stimulus and inspiration in the working environment and who will bring new creative activities, skills and ways of working to a workplace’s staff, customers and visitors. We are open to ambitious proposals and innovative ways of engagement with fees for individual projects ranging from £2-£5,500.
